Arsenal have made contact with Kingsley Coman’s management as they seek to sign the winger for a fee this summer, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Coman and Bayern are to part ways this summer, with the player surplus to requirements and the club setting their sights on additional signings.
Arsenal are currently in ongoing negotiations with Coman’s representatives and hope that a deal can be reached. However, the Premier League outfit understands that there is plenty of interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Pro League is a very appealing option for Coman, however, Arsenal are making themselves known to Coman and his team nonetheless.
Though Arsenal will not be able to offer Coman as much money as most Saudi Pro League teams, what they can offer is Champions League football and the possibility of winning the Premier League.
It all depends on what the 28-year-old winger wants to do. He clearly has the ability to still play at the top of European football on a regular basis. If the desire is still there, Arsenal would be an attractive option.
