Arsenal recently had an offer rejected for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported about the situation of Scamacca, claiming that the player is looking to stay in Italy even if he leaves the Neroverdi. He would like to join Inter but as things, he would have to be patient about a move.
Milan and Napoli did come forward to make enquiries for the striker but a concrete approach was made by Arsenal. The Gunners offered €40 million plus bonuses for the ex-Genoa player but the Inter target rejected a chance to move to the Emirates because he is waiting for offers in Italy.
It is stated that Scamacca has been Inter’s target since last summer and they had even promised to sign him in January. But things changed and Inter are going by priority. They are waiting for the signings of Paulo Dybala, Bremer, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Kristjan Asllani before looking at Scamacca. They are also looking at the possibility of bringing back Romelu Lukaku and that deal could prove key for the Sassuolo striker’s situation.
He rejected a move to Germany in January as well, despite Borussia Dortmund making an approach for him.
