Despite a passed medical, 24-year-old French-Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar may not be joining Eintracht Frankfurt on a free this summer after all. This is reported by German broadcaster Sport1. According to the German source, the Lyon professional’s agent is continuing o negotiate with other clubs. The SGE are losing patience with a deal thought to be sewn up.
Eintracht themselves must be wary Aouar’s reported disciplinary problems, difficulty maintaining his place in the Lyon starting XI, and constant estimated market worth downgrades among declining performances. The RheinMain club reportedly offered the player a €5 million signing-bonus and €250,000 monthly salary to sign.
