According to Fabrizio Romano, reports of a move for Antoine Greizmann (32) to Manchester United are false and the French attacking midfielder remains committed to Atlético Madrid. Reports had recently linked the Red Devils with a move for the former Barcelona attacker but those reports are seemingly unfounded.
The France international reaffirmed his commitment to the Madrid club in the summer by rejecting the advances of Saudi clubs despite ‘huge bids’ made to the Sociedad academy graduate. Paris Saint-Germain were also reportedly priced out of a move for the 32-year-old. Griezmann has been in fine form for the La Liga club this season and has transformed his game since he returned to the Metropolitano. The Frenchman has 12 goals and 1 assist in all competitions for Atléti.
However, Griezmann’s long-term future in the Spanish capital remains unknown. The France international’s contract with the La Liga club doesn’t expire until 2026 but Griezmann has made no secret of his future ambitions to move to America and play in the MLS.
