According to Fabrizio Romano, Angeliño is now seriously considering a move to Hoffenheim from RB Leipzig.
Since the arrival of David Raum from Hoffenheim, Angeliño has been surplus to requirements at Leipzig. The Saxons are willing to let the 25-year-old leave the club, putting his future into his own plans.
Angeliño had gathered interest from Premier League clubs including Brighton and West Ham United but Hoffenheim have also been mentioned as a possible destination.
With TSG’s star left-back heading one way, it makes logical for Angeliño to back the other way in what would be a swap deal of sorts. It’s reported that negotiations with Hoffenheim are currently ongoing. A year loan deal has also been mentioned depending on if TSG can afford an outright transfer or not.
The Italian journalist reported that Hoffenheim remain optimistic about Angeliño who would be a great replacement after losing one of their key assets.
