Nadiem Amiri has reportedly decided to stay and fight for his place at Bayer Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old has been touted for a move away from Leverkusen, with reports claiming that ‘Die Werkself’ were hoping to recoup the €9 million they paid to sign him from Hoffenheim three years ago.
Most recently, Besiktas expressed interest in the midfielder, but a move to Turkey hasn’t materialized, and a transfer this summer no longer appears to be on the cards.
Amiri, who spent last season on loan at Genoa, is under contract with ‘Die Werkself’ until 2024. He has played 26 minutes of competitive football so far this season.
