Bayer Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes has ruled out selling Nadiem Amiri in January.

After struggling for playing time under Gerardo Seoane, Nadiem Amiri has emerged as a starter for Bayer Leverkusen since Xabi Alonso took over as coach in October.
Therefore, the midfielder is no longer for sale, as confirmed by managing director for sport Simon Rolfes.
“Unlike last summer, it’s not an urgent topic for us,” Rolfes said in an interview with Kicker and continued:
“With the way he has presented himself with commitment and bite in training and in games too, he is an important part of the team.”
Amiri has featured 16 times for Leverkusen this season with a goal and two assists to his name.
