Almería and Real Valladolid promoted to La Liga

Almería and Real Valladolid secured promotion to La Liga on Sunday.

Almería’s 2-2 draw away to Leganés was enough to finish top of the Segunda table after 42 games.

Real Valladolid beat Huesca 3-0 at home on the final day of the season to finish second and claim their place in Spain’s top flight for next season.

Eibar were defeated 1-0 by already relegated Alcorcón, meaning the Basque club miss out on automatic promotion.
