As reported by Relevo, Álex Collado has expressed his desire to leave Barcelona in the interest of more playing time.
Álex Collado had a conversation with Xavi where he told the Barcelona coach that he wants to leave the club as he does not want to spend the next season on the bench.
Both parties agreed that a loan move could be beneficial for the 23-year-old’s development as it would allow him to get more games under his belt and showcase his potential.
According to reports, there are several clubs interested in signing Collado and the Blaugrana are confident that a new destination could be found for the Spaniard soon.
Even though Collado recently extended his contract with Barcelona until June 2024, a permanent transfer is not being ruled out if the offer is favourable for both parties.
The Sabadellenc spent the past season on loan at Granada, where he scored two goals in 17 appearances in La Liga.
