Al-Hilal have reportedly opened talks with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic over a potential summer move, according to L’Equipe.
The Saudi Pro League giants have identified the Serbian striker as a potential alternative for Victor Osimhen.
The Napoli centre-forward remains Al Hilal’s priority target, despite having had a lucrative proposal turned down by him.
The Blue Waves have revived their talks for Osimhen, who has a release worth €75 million. But a deal is far from straightforward due to competition from European heavyweights.
Meanwhile, Vlahovic’s exit speculations have been rife after he rejected Juve’s renewal offer on reduced terms.
His contract expires next summer, and the Bianconeri are pushing to fetch a considerable fee from his sale.
Being the club’s top earner, Vlahovic’s departure will be key for the Bianconeri to make room for new signings.
However, a lack of concrete proposals has forced Juve to look for alternative solutions.
They are reportedly considering extending Vlahovic’s contract on a short-term before loaning him out.
Juve believe this could help the striker revive his form and increase his valuation.
Having already snapped up Jonathan David on a free transfer, the Old Lady are working on a potential deal for Osimhen.
Al Hilal are looking to team up Vlahovic with his compatriot Aleksandar Mitrovic, who missed the Club World Cup due to injury.
With Marcos Leonardo in their ranks, Simone Inzaghi’s side are planning to build a formidable attack.
They are also close to announcing the signing of AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez.
Al Hilal are ready to compete for the Saudi league title after finishing as runners-up behind Al-Ittihad last season.
