Al-Hilal are planning to go all out for Barcelona winger Raphinha this summer, according to Sport.
The Saudi giants are preparing an astronomical offer worth €300 million to lure the Brazilian superstar from the Catalonian capital.
Jorge Jesus’ side have turned their attention towards the former Leeds United star after failing to land Mohamed Salah and Vinicius Junior.
Salah has penned a two-year extension with Liverpool to end the speculation over his future, while Vinicius is expected to follow suit with Real Madrid.
With Neymar leaving earlier this year, Al-Hilal have identified his compatriot as the top target to spearhead their attack.
However, the Saudi outfit may fall short in their pursuit as Raphinha is said to be inching closer towards signing a new deal with the Catalan giants.
Barca are planning to reward the 28-year-old with an improved contract following his sensational form this season.
He has set alight La Liga and Europe with his scintillating performances, bagging 30 goals and 23 assists in all competitions.
Playing a pivotal role in Barca’s quest for a treble, Raphinha is also considered the leading contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.
With Robert Lewandowski out injured, Raphinha has even greater responsibility in the attack, with the Copa del Rey finals against Real Madrid and the Champions League semi-finals against Inter Milan looming.
While Raphinha was close to leaving last summer, it looks like a distant possibility now since the Brazilian has revitalised his career under manager Hansi Flick to be considered in the same bracket as the world’s best players.
Barcelona are also expected to tie down teenage sensation Lamine Yamal to a new deal until 2030.
