Offloading Manuel Akanji is proving to be more difficult than initially hoped for Borussia Dortmund.
According to Sport1, the Swiss centre-back has scared off interested clubs with his “very high” salary demands.
For example, Akanji demanded €13 million per year from Juventus, per the German media outlet.
Having signed Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck, Dortmund no longer need Akanji, who is out of contract next summer.
