According to Sports Zone, an agreement has been reached in principle between Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica’s João Neves (19) as they look to reinforce their midfield ahead of the new campaign.
However, PSG have not yet agreed a fee with Benfica. Les Parisiens are reportedly unwilling to meet Benfica’s release clause of €120 million and have lodged a bid below that figure. Their opening offer has been rejected and negotiations are still ongoing as they look to convince the Portuguese side to meet their evaluation.
João Neves negotiations a sign that Fabián Ruiz could be on the way out?
PSG have been strongly linked with a move for multiple midfielders this summer with the French champions having also lodged a bid with Stade Rennais for Désiré Doué (19) today. It is a sign that there will likely be players exiting the club before the start of the next season, with Fabián Ruiz (28) rumoured to be up for sale.
