The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to sit down for contract talks with no fewer than seven members of the club’s first-team squad.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona, of course, are fresh off confirming the contract renewal of an absolutely integral figure in the club’s present and future alike.
As much came on Thursday, when prodigious defender Pau Cubarsí was tied down through the summer of 2027.
Safe to say, however, that the Barca brass are far from done there.
In fact, Deco and his team of directors appear to just be getting started when it comes to securing the futures of the club’s stars.
As per the aforementioned MD, all of the following Blaugrana stars will soon be called for talks over extensions to their respective deals:
Sergi Roberto, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi, Marc Guiu, Ronald Araújo, and Héctor Fort.
