Adrien Rabiot keeps options open amid PSG and Arsenal interest

Adrien Rabiot will be the subject of a transfer battle between top European clubs this summer with his future uncertain.

Last summer, Manchester United came close to snapping him up for coach Erik ten Hag, but the deal broke down.

Rabiot would continue with Juventus, but his contract is running out, and he will be free to join any club this summer on a free transfer.

However, the Frenchman said he is focusing on finishing the season with the Bianconeri, with Manchester United, Arsenal, and former club Paris Saint-Germain monitoring his situation.

In an interview with Saber Desfarges (via Telefoot), Rabiot said: “PSG, there is nothing special about [the link]. I hear a lot of noise.”

Rabiot had come through PSG’s famous academy and played for Les Parisiens for six seasons before leaving.

He insisted that his focus is on his deal with the Italian club. He wants to honour his contract with them.

Rabiot will have plenty of suitors in the summer, especially as he will join on a free transfer. Juventus want to keep him at the club, but their financial situation is concerning.

Also, Manchester United could return for him, and there have been links to Premier League table-toppers Arsenal.

The 27-year-old has made it clear that a club in the Champions League will get his priority.

Despite missing out on the Premier League move, Rabiot is having his best season. He has seven goals and three assists in 23 Serie A appearances under Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri.

Rabiot will be a constant for the French national team in this new era. Coach Didier Deschamps called him up for the latest round of international games.

The central midfielder was part of the Les Bleus squad that finished as finalists at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Although, suitors will remain wary of the trouble the former PSG man and his mother/agent, Veronique Rabiot, can cause.
