According to Fabrizio Romano, Adana Demirspor have agreed a deal to sign Édouard Michut (20) on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. Sunderland targeted a move for the French midfielder on deadline day but failed in their pursuit to bring Michut back to the Stadium of Light.
With the transfer window shut in much of Europe, Demirspor have managed to secure a loan move for the 20-year-old with the transfer window still open in Turkey. The Turkish window shuts on Friday. A verbal agreement has been reached between the two clubs and the prospective deal includes an option to buy.
Patrick Kluivert, Demirspor’s manager, had targeted the former Sunderland loanee before the close of the transfer window and the Turkish club are just waiting for the final documents to be signed before a deal is complete. Michut spent last season on loan in the Championship with Sunderland and made 28 appearances for the Black Cats.
