AC Milan are interested in Paris Saint-Germain attacker Marco Asensio (29), according to L’Équipe. The report states that Milan have opened talks with PSG over a potential transfer.
The Spaniard has been strongly linked with a move to Turkey after José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe submitted a €15m bid. However, Asensio is believed to prefer a move elsewhere in Europe rather than to Turkey. Villarreal are also said to be interested in Asensio, although the cost of the deal may prohibit any further interest from the La Liga club.
The Spaniard returned to PSG this summer following a successful loan spell at Aston Villa. In his short stint in the Premier League, he registered eight goals and one assist in 21 appearances, including three goals in four matches in the 2024-5 UEFA Champions League.
Asensio is reportedly waiting to assess all available options before deciding on his next move away from Paris.
