AC Milan and Valencia have reached an agreement for Yunus Musah to move to the San Siro, according to Calciomercato.
Serie A giants Milan will reportedly shell out approximately €20 million to secure the services of the talented 20-year-old.
This move will reunite Musah with his international teammate, Christian Pulisic, setting the stage for an exciting partnership in Milan’s midfield.
Milan, who recently transferred Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, need more bodies in the centre.
The seven-time Champions League winners were looking for a dynamic and versatile presence in the middle of the park, and they believe they’ve found that in Musah.
The United States international midfielder has accumulated over 100 appearances for Valencia.
However, his tenure at the club coincided with a tumultuous period, as Valencia grappled with ownership issues, causing them to plummet down the league table.
It did not help that several Valencia coaches have misplayed him, fielding him on the right wing when he is a central midfielder.
The young prodigy is eager to embark on a new challenge at one of Italy’s most historic clubs.
Despite his tender age, Musah has already showcased his immense potential on the international stage, earning 31 caps for the US.
He also represented his nation in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, making four appearances.
