Edin Terzic reveals he had a conversation with Youssoufa Moukoko before the game against Union Berlin, which may have played a part in the youngster’s match-winning substitute performance.

Youssoufa Moukoko needed just five minutes on the pitch to score as he gave Borussia Dortmund a hard-fought 2-1 win over Union Berlin after coming on in the 79th minute.
Moukoko was all smiles after his goal secured the win for Dortmund, but BVB coach Edin Terzic reveals that the youngster was not too happy about starting from the bench.
“He was obviously disappointed that he wasn’t playing. I took him aside and told him, ‘It’s not going to work if you sit on the bench and in the dressing room with a frown on your face,'” Terzic told Kicker.
“He is a player who needs to smile. It is obviously easier for him when he is enjoying the game,” added the Dortmund coach, who was pleased to return to winning ways after losing important games to Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.
“If you think about what happened in the past week, we are very happy with today’s result.”
