Jadon Sancho has no intention of returning to Manchester United regardless of who is in charge at the club.
Sky Sports journalist Patrick Berger reports the 24-year-old is very happy at Borussia Dortmund and wants to extend his stay in Germany.
United have set a £50 million price tag for his sale this summer, but the Bundesliga giants are unlikely to meet that figure.
Dortmund have secured Champions League football for next season but a permanent deal will not be feasible.
They will reportedly look for another loan transfer with an obligation to buy included.
Sancho fell out with Ten Hag after his explosive social media post claiming he was being made a scapegoat for the team’s failures.
He was frozen out by the Dutch manager after refusing to apologise for his behaviour.
Sancho was allowed to rejoin Dortmund on loan in the January transfer window and the move has been reasonably successful.
He has bagged three goals and two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
The winger provided a standout display against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, helping his side claim a 1-0 win in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
