Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Donyell Malen will not be available for Borussia Dortmund’s return leg against Atletico Madrid.
When Borussia Dortmund take on Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League tie at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night, they will do so without Donyell Malen.
That’s according to local publication Ruhr Nachrichten, who reports that Malen was not present when the squad gathered at the team hotel on Tuesday.
Jadon Sancho, who missed Saturday’s 2-1 win over Gladbach due to illness, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who picked up a knock during the game, were both there and should be available.
Karim Adeyemi is likely to play on the wing in Malen’s absence.
Dortmund will also be without Sebastien Haller and Ramy Bensebaini.
The Black and Yellows lost 2-1 in the first leg in Madrid last week.
