Sabitzer plays down exit rumors

Marcel Sabitzer can’t see why he should think about leaving Bayern.

Marcel Sabitzer has played down reports suggesting that he could leave Bayern München this summer.


Despite a disappointing first season at Allianz Arena, the former Leipzig captain is not looking for a move away from the club.

He told Bild:

“Why should I think about that? There are many players who didn’t do well in their first year.”

The 28-year-old has featured 30 times for the German champions so far with a goal and an assist to his name. His contract expires in 2025.
