If Bayern decide to sack Thomas Tuchel before the end of the season, an interim coaching duo of Miroslav Klose and Hermann Gerland could take over.

Bayern Munich suffered their second straight defeat on Saturday, this time squandering a 2-0 half-time lead to lose 3-2 to Heidenheim in the Bundesliga.
Despite another disappointing loss, Thomas Tuchel is certain to remain in charge for Tuesday’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Arsenal in London.
It’s already been announced that Tuchel will leave his post at the end of the season, but should Bayern lose to Arsenal, he could be sacked earlier, according to Abendzeitung.
The Munich paper reports that if the situation becomes irreparable and Tuchel has to leave immediately, Miroslav Klose could take over on an interim basis with Hermann Gerland as his assistant.
Klose, Germany’s all-time leading scorer, has previously coached Bayern’s U17 team and served as an assistant coach for the club.
Gerland is currently working as an assistant coach for Germany’s U21 team and has held various positions at Bayern in the past.
