Arsenal could still bring another big-name signing to the Emirates before the end of the summer transfer window according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Mikel Arteta is bolstering his squad ahead of the return of European football and after missing out on Raphinha the Spaniard may now be eyeing other high-profile targets.
What is happening in Arsenal’s attacker search?
The signing of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City will likely prove to be the biggest moment of the summer for Arsenal with a new man ready to lead the line next season.
Fabio Vieira, although a midfielder by trade, has previously impressed out wide for Porto too so also provides an option for Arteta in attack.
But it appears that another attacker remains on the agenda at the Emirates. The Gunners pushed hard to sign Raphinha from Leeds this summer only for Chelsea to sneak ahead of them and have a bid accepted.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian had his heart set on a move to Barcelona and eventually got his way.
Reports have since linked Arsenal with moves for Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio and Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta as Arteta and Edu look to add the finishing touches to their side.

What has Sheth said about Arsenal’s business?
Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: “If they’re looking at Raphinha, maybe they’ve got somebody else in mind in that right wing area to bring in. So it could be another big money, big name signing for Arsenal. There’s still plenty of time left in this transfer window.”
Do Arsenal need a right-winger?
While Arsenal are not spoilt for choice when it comes to right-wingers, they do boast one of the Premier League’s most exciting options in that area in Bukayo Saka.
Transfers may be a big focus at the Emirates this summer but tying the 20-year-old to a new deal remains a top priority as well.
It is of course important for Arsenal to secure the future of the brightest Hale End star to emerge from the academy for years, but could it also pose a problem in the transfer market?
Many positions in the Arsenal side appear to be up for grabs as things stand, apart from the right wing. It would take an awful lot to displace a player of Saka’s quality from it.
Could that, therefore, play on the minds of players who have been targeted by Arsenal? It may mean that a more versatile figure such as Paqueta is more likely to jump at the chance given his ability to play across the attack.
For more specialised right-wingers, Premier League game time may well be a tough ask.
