Despite struggling for form and fitness since his move away from AS Monaco a little over 18 months ago, Chelsea are not considering a departure for Benoît Badiashile (23), according to Fabrizio Romano.
Fitness issues and frequent managerial changes have stinted Badashile’s growth since he traded the Principality of Monaco for West London back in January 2023. This season, he has made just 13 appearances in all competitions, largely due to frequent muscular issues, which have notably impacted his hamstring and his groin.

Chalobah could be on the move, that is the expectation; no plans on Badiashile so far.

The France international made his return to the first-team last weekend, starting in a 2-2 draw against Burnley. Whilst departures are expected in the Chelsea defence this summer, notably Trevoh Chalobah, it is not expected that Badiashile will leave the club.
According to Romano, Chelsea rejected proposals from Serie A sides back in January and the plan is for Badiashile to remain at Stamford Bridge next season.
