Whilst AS Monaco will be without Guillermo Maripán, Denis Zakaria and Mohamed Camara, Breel Embolo may be welcomed back into the matchday squad for the game against FC Metz on Saturday.
Embolo has not featured for Monaco this season after having suffered an ACL injury in early August. It is highly unlikely that he will have any minutes against Metz on Saturday, however, as Adi Hütter revealed, the Swiss international could be included in the matchday squad.
However, there will be plenty of absentees for Les Monégasques. Caio Henrique also remains absent with an ACL injury, although he is nearing a return. Maripán is out after suffering an injury on international duty that will rule him out for three to four weeks. Camara remains absent with a knee injury. The Mali international did an individual training session in La Turbie on Thursday, however, he is not expected back for another two weeks. Zakaria is suspended after receiving a red card during the 2-2 draw against FC Lorient.
Monaco likely lineup v Metz
Radoslaw Majecki; Thilo Kehrer, Mohammed Salisu, Wilfried Singo; Ismail Jakbos, Youssouf Fofana, Aleksandr Golovin, Vanderson; Maghnes Akliouche; Wissam Ben Yedder. Aleksandr Golovin.
