Borussia Mönchengladbach have been rocked by an injury blow ahead of their Bundesliga clash with Freiburg this Saturday.
Die Fohlen confirmed on Thursday that Manu Koné suffered a thigh strain for France’s U23 team in a friendly on Monday.
The injury means that Koné will be out for the coming weeks, the Bundesliga outfit said.
With Koné out, Rocco Reitz is likely to start alongside Julian Weigl and Florian Neuhaus in the middle of the park for Gladbach against Freiburg.
