Here’s what Toni Kroos and Niclas Füllkrug had to say after Germany’s 2-1 win over the Netherlands.

Toni Kroos said he was proud of Germany for coming back from an early deficit to beat the Netherlands 2-1 in a friendly on Tuesday night.
“I am proud of the team, which has come through a difficult time. We’ve kept the momentum and the confidence. A few months ago we would have collapsed after going behind,” Kroos said in a post-match interview.
Niclas Füllkrug, who scored the winning goal, also had a good feeling after the match.
“It feels exactly like it should as a German international: good! We had to put in a lot of effort, you could tell it’s only been three days since the last game. But you can see that conceding a 1-0 goal doesn’t throw us off course,” he said.
