Premier League giants Manchester United are keeping tabs on the situation of Milan youngster Francesco Camarda, with the Serie A starlet also attracting interest from other clubs.
Camarda made his debut for Milan at the age of 15 earlier this season and it came after he racked up an incredible record for the Milan Primavera side, scoring over 500 goals across the Rossoneri youth levels. He has six goals for the Primavera side this season, scoring thrice in the Coppa Primavera. He recently scored a brace for Italy Under-17s against Belgium Under-17s.
Luca Bianchin has reported about the situation of the teenager, who seemed likely to sign a pro contract but that possibility is now decreasing. Milan do have an agreement in principle for a contract but it isn’t signed yet, despite Camarda receiving constant compliments from those at the club.
Borussia Dortmund are leading the race for the teenager and while Manchester City have also kept tabs on him in the past, rivals United are also monitoring the youngster and they are more than just ‘attentive’ to his situation. Camarda cannot go to England at 16 because the post-Brexit rules prohibit it but many big clubs offer him a gradual growth path between youth teams, a possible second team and a loan, which is always possible.
Milan haven’t had any meetings in recent weeks and a renewal could only be signed in the summer, if it is signed at all.
