Following an awe-inspiring start to their transfer window, Serie A newbies Monza appear to be closing in on Hellas Verona star Gianluca Caprari.
According to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Gianluca Caprari is closing in on joining Hellas Verona on an initial loan plus an obligation for remedption.
Monza are reportedly making good progress with the negotiations and intend to finalise the transfer in the next few days.
Verona, who have recently signed Caprari on a permanent deal from Sampdoria, will reportedly amass a figure of around €6-€7 million from the departure of the 28-year-old.
Last summer, he joined Hellas Verona, where he had an excellent season. Playing 35 games in Serie A, the forward garnered 12 goals and seven assist en route to finishing the season at the ninth position in the league standings with Igor Tufor’s Verona.
He was also an integral part of an effective trio featuring the Roma-born star, Giovanni Simeone and Antonín Barák.
