A trio of Premier League clubs are looking at potentially signing VfL Wolfsburg’s Jonas Wind this summer, according to Wolfsburger Allgemeine.
The Danish international is experiencing a slight goal draught right now as Wolfsburg struggle for form in the Bundesliga. However, earlier in the campaign, the 25-year-old forward showed his attacking prowess on several occasions. This has clearly caught the eye of clubs in England.
As per the report, one of the clubs in the mix is Wolves, who, under Gary O’Neil, have surpassed many people’s expectations this season.
So far this season, Wind has scored 9 and assisted 6 goals in 24 Bundesliga appearances.
The forward has also impressed at international level for Denmark. In total, the forward has made 17 competitive appearances, scoring five times and assisting the same amount.
Remarkably, Wolfsburg are yet to win a Bundesliga match in 2024. This poor run of form has seen them slip to 13th in the league table, with head coach Niko Kovač under increasing pressure.
Should Wolfsburg limp over the line this May, an offer from the Premier League may be seen as an exciting new challenge.
Wind is currently valued at around €25m, according to TransferMarkt.
