A host of major clubs are keeping tabs on Inter and Serie A star Nicolo Barella but the Nerazzurri are optimistic about his renewal.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today have reported about the midfielder as Inter are already working to potentially extend his deal till the summer of 2028. Beppe Marotta is clear that he wants to make sure that Inter tie down all their key players to new contracts, with Barella expected to be the highest earner at the club and in the same bracket as Lautaro Martinez.
There is optimism that an agreement could be reached soon as the difference between the supply and demand has reduced by a significant margin. Multiple European clubs are keeping tabs and have sough information about the Italian, who seems keen on staying at Inter and is very much interested in signing a new deal at the Nerazzurri.
Things can change if a huge offer arrives from another club, but that seems unlikely so far. Inter do not consider him sellable unless a huge offer arrives that they would struggle to reject.
