Serie A side Sassuolo are considering sacking new manager Emiliano Bigica after just a single game in-charge.
Alessio Dionisi was sacked by the Neroverdi some days ago and while there were named bandied about as to who can replace him, Bigica was promoted from the Primavera side and made the new manager. But Sassuolo lost 6-1 to Napoli yesterday and the performance was desolate.
Sky Italia today state that considerations are being held at Sassuolo already about Bigica’s future and the club believe they are in crisis. It is very much possible that Bigica is sacked after just one game in-charge, with Fabio Grosso well in the frame to get the job after being sacked by Lyon. Another name is Leonardo Semplici and contact was made by Davide Ballardini as well last night.
Rino Gattuso has been linked with the job but he has not opened up to the possibility of managing the Neroverdi so far, having been sacked by Marseille recently.
