After his move to Fiorentina fell through, Austrian international Florian Grillitsch of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will apparently be headed to the Turkish Süper Big next season. Both online portal “Ajansspor” and Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli claim that the 26-year-old will sign new working papers with Galatasaray Istanbul in the coming days/
The former Hofffenheim and SV Werder Bremen professional departs German football after seven seasons playing in the Bundesliga. While Grillitsch’s market value has fallen from its peak of €25 million in March 2020, the 33-times-capped international remains one of the most valuable free agents in all of football this offseason on a current estimated market value of €17 million.
