Sport Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt look to Arsenal as their inspiration when it comes to sticking with their manager amid speculation on the future of Dino Toppmöller.
Frankfurt currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga, which on paper puts them on track with their targets, but under Toppmöller the team has struggled to play well and are only in such a position due to the lack of quality of the teams below them.
Despite growing criticism of Toppmöller, Frankfurt intends to stick with the manager and they see Arsenal as the role model for the situation. During the early stages of his spell at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta struggled and the team did not play the same level of football they do now. It is believed this helped Arteta develop into a good coach.
In Frankfurt, they see the situation similar to Toppmöller, this is his first role as a head coach and he still needs time to learn and develop into a Bundesliga coach.
Sporting director Markus Krösche is aware of this and is in constant contact with Toppmöller giving him the necessary feedback.
