Chelsea are looking to improve their goalkeeping department with the signing of Aaron Ramsdale, according to HITC.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot at Arsenal this season and he needs to leave the club at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal are prepared to sell the player to Chelsea in the summer.
Chelsea signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton at the start of the season, but they are not convinced with his performance. They are looking to bring in an upgrade and they have identified the star as a potential alternative.
They are thought to be keeping tabs on the La Liga goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili as well.
Ramsdale has proven himself with his performances in the Premier League and he should be able to settle in quickly at Stamford Bridge and make an immediate impact. The opportunity to continue in London and join a big club like Chelsea could be an attractive option for the player.

If they can promise him regular game time, the 25-year-old goalkeeper is likely to be attracted to the idea of joining them.
Ramsdale is still relatively young and he is likely to improve further with experience. He could develop into a top class player for Chelsea in the coming seasons. The Blues have Kepa Arrizabalaga on their books as well. The Spaniard is currently on loan at Real Madrid and he will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. However, he does not have a future at the London club and he is likely to be sold permanently.
