Current Serie A champions Napoli are looking at reinforcements and are probing Lazar Samardzic and Lewis Ferguson for potential summer transfer moves.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Napoli are searching for a replacement for the outgoing Piotr Zielinski and have eyed up moves for Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic and Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson. The Partenopei have miserably failed to replicate their performances from their Scudetto-winning campaign and therefore have decided to go for a facelift amongst their squad for next season.
The Neapolitans are aiming to reinvigorate their pursuit of the Udinese starman after the failed negotiation during this past window. Ferguson is seen as a tough opportunity as he has attracted some Premier League outfits with his convincing performances. Bologna are expected to list a price tag of around €18-20 million for him this summer.
Napoli are also probing Dutch defender Sam Beukema from the Rossoblu but nothing concrete has been established yet.
