Erling Haaland has further extended Manchester City’s lead over Everton with his second goal of the match.
In the 85th minute, Manchester City capitalised on a counterattack opportunity. Everton committed bodies forward in search of an equaliser, leaving themselves vulnerable at the back.
Kevin De Bruyne initiated the break and delivered a well-timed pass to Haaland.
The Norwegian forward showcased his strength and composure as he shrugged off Tarkowski’s challenge before calmly slotting the ball past Pickford, doubling Manchester City’s advantage to make it 2-0.
