Villarreal have announced the signing of goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
The veteran netminder, who turns 40 next month, has signed for the Yellow Submarine on a one-year deal.
Reina played for the club almost two decades ago, before joining Liverpool in 2005.
He joins Unai Emery’s side after leaving Lazio. His move to La Cerámica follows the departure of Sergio Asenjo, who has joined newly-promoted Real Valladolid.
