Germany sporting director Rudi Völler has given Deniz Undav and other Stuttgart players hope of making the national squad in March.

Third in the Bundesliga, VfB Stuttgart are having a sensational season, and that hasn’t gone unnoticed by Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann or sporting director Rudi Völler.
The latter spoke highly of Sebastian Hoeness’ side to ARD on Thursday, saying that “there are several Stuttgart players who are very interesting”.
“I have the feeling that some of them will be involved in the next international matches,” Völler said.
One of them, of course, is Deniz Undav, who has found the net 14 times in 17 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart this season.
Amid reports that Undav has already been promised a call-up by Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann for the March games, Völler confirmed that the 27-year-old striker is on the radar.
“He is on the list. I can reveal that here. He’s earned it.”
