Tottenham have completed the loan signing of Clément Lenglet from Barcelona.
Lenglet has agreed to the personal terms on offer and signs until June 2023. There will be no option to buy included in the deal between the clubs.
The 27-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at Camp Nou, likes the idea of Champions League football with the north London club this season.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Clément Lenglet on a season-long loan from Barcelona, subject to international clearance and a work permit,” Spurs wrote on their official website.
The centre-back joined Barcelona in July 2018 and has played 159 games in all competitions, winning La Liga in his first season and the Copa del Rey in 2021.
