Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will have to have a conversation with co-owner Todd Boehly about Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, says transfer insider Dean Jones.
Boehly has discussed the possibility of bringing the Portugal international to Stamford Bridge with his agent Jorge Mendes, but Jones is not sure he suits the Blues’ style.

What is the latest news involving Ronaldo?
Last weekend, The Times reported that Ronaldo had told United that he wants to leave the club this summer.
Since then, The Athletic has claimed that Chelsea are considering a move for the 37-year-old.
It is a move that could appeal to him, with the west London outfit qualifying for the Champions League after finishing third last season.
According to The Athletic, United’s failure to qualify for that competition is why he wants to leave Old Trafford for a second time in his career.

What has Jones said about Ronaldo to Chelsea?
Jones has his doubts over whether Ronaldo would fit in at Chelsea and thinks it is a conversation Boehly has to have with Tuchel.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “Chelsea’s style of play might not necessarily suit Ronaldo, and they’ve got Kai Havertz, who they’ve been moulding into this figure that can fit really well as a false nine.
“So I think Tuchel would really have to have that conversation with Boehly. ‘Yes, he’s a big superstar, yes, he will get us goals and yes, it would be a big win to get him out of Man United. But is it necessarily right for what we want in this moment?’ I’m not really sure it is, to be honest.”
Who could lose out at Chelsea if Ronaldo joins?
At his age now, you can only really see Ronaldo playing up front. Therefore, you would expect Havertz to be in danger should the £27m-rated United star arrive at Stamford Bridge.
While Havertz is an attacking midfielder, he often led the line for Chelsea last season, making 26 appearances as a centre-forward (via Transfermarkt).
From how Tuchel sees things, the Germany international enjoys playing in high positions.
On Havertz, the Chelsea manager said in 2021: “I think that Kai feels very comfortable in high positions. I feel he is very comfortable to go to drop in to half-spaces from the high position, to turn and drive with the ball and use his speed.”
Ultimately, with Raheem Sterling expected to come in and Mason Mount practically an automatic starter under Tuchel, it is hard to see how Havertz and Ronaldo could coexist in the same Chelsea team.
