VfB Stuttgart officially confirmed Dan-Axel Zagadou’s loss for the entire season late Thursday morning.
Despite the fact that the news came on transfer deadline day, it doesn’t appear as if Stuttgart will seek to procure an immediate replacement on the market. The Swabians posted a picture of the entire squad holding Zagadou’s jersey on the club’s training ground to its social media feed when confirming the news. Best wishes for a “quick recovery” were conveyed.
