Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart are in talks to sign Mahmoud Dahoud on loan with an option to buy from Brighton & Hove Albion.


After just under half a year in England, Mahmoud Dahoud could be on his way back to Germany.


According to Sky Germany, VfB Stuttgart are in advanced talks to sign the 28-year-old midfielder from Brighton & Hove Albion on loan with an option to buy.

Dahou has seen limited playing time since joining Brighton on a free from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

In total, he has made 14 appearances and played 682 minutes for the English Premier League side.

His last appearance was in a league match against Burnley on December 9.
