Gianluca Di Marzio reports that a meeting is scheduled today between Paris Saint-Germain and Sassuolo to discuss the potential transfer of forward Gianluca Scamacca to the Ligue 1 champions. The 23-year-old’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, will also be present.
As confirmed by sources contacted by Get French Football News, the Italian forward was one of three players with whom PSG had agreed personal terms in principle, with the next step being to strike a deal with their clubs.
As a result, the next day is expected to be decisive in clarifying the distance between the two clubs in their valuation of the player and how feasible a move would be for the former Lazio and Roma youth player.
The Neroverdi’s asking price for their forward, who scored 16 goals last season in Serie A, was set at €50m. PSG’s latest offer was over €40m including bonuses. The two parties could yet move closer in their respective figures with today’s meeting.
