With the transfer window set to close in just a few days, Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly exploring the possibility of making a late swoop for Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Asensio.

Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly exploring the possibility of a late swoop for Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Asensio.
According to Sky Germany, Die Werkself have held talks over a possible move for the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder.
However, the report also claims that a move before the window closes would be difficult to pull off.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder is expected to stay, as Paris Saint-Germain have guaranteed that he will not go anywhere at the moment.
Leverkusen have made one signing this month is the shape of Borja Iglesias, who has joined on loan from Real Betis.
