Atalanta has rejected and €8 million bid from Lazio for Nicolo Cambiaghi. The 23-year-old winger currently on-loan at Serie A strugglers Empoli.
Biancocelesti patron Claudio Lotito is set to lose Brazilian Felipe Anderson at the end of the current campaign, with the Brazilian reportedly agreeing a €4 million-a-season move to Juventus. Il Messaggero (via tuttomercatoweb), reports that one of the primary targets as his replacement, will not be heading to the capital in January.
Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri has already identified several other players to fill the void, including Rafa Silva, who will be a free-agent at Benfica at the conclusion of the current campaign, Andrea Colpani, a rising star at Monza, who have elevated the price of the 24-year-old that would be way out of reach for Lotito.
The other name in the notebook is Genoa frontman Albert Gudmundsson, but his €30 million price-tag is once again too much for capital club.
