Angers top talent Jean-Mattéo Bahoya will move to Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The 18-year-old is set to sign a contract until 2029 and join the Bundesliga side for a fee of €8m in total.
Bahoya will complete his medical soon before being announced as a new Frankfurt player. It’s believed that The Eagles will use the youngster as both an attacker and winger.
Angers are currently top of Ligue 2 with having played 19 of the club’s 21 league games so far. Within these 19 appearances, the French U21 international has scored 5 times and assisted on two occasions.
It was rumoured that other top teams such as Arsenal were keeping tabs on the youngster but Frankfurt were always the front-runners for the deal.
Sporting director Markus Krösche has secured another top talent for the Bundesliga and, most importantly, Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frankfurt continue their push for European football this weekend against Mainz 05.
