Germany coach Hansi Flick has revealed that Jonas Hofmann is a lock to make his squad for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Hofmann started three out of four UEFA Nations League games for Germany last month, racking up two goals and an assist.
Flick was so impressed with the Gladbach winger’s performances that he now publicly promises him a spot in his World Cup squad.
“If you look the last games, then you have to say that he’s already a lock,” Flick told reporters today while visiting Borussia Mönchengladbach’s training camp in Rottach-Egern.
