Napoli make new offer for Nottingham Forest’s Orel Mangala

Serie A giants Napoli have made a new offer for Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala.

Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed what was reported by Sky in Germany, stating that Napoli continue to look for a midfielder and Mangala remains their key target as the days tick down for the transfer window to close.

A new offer has been put forward for Mangala, with the Partenopei having offered an initial six-month-long loan deal, with the obligation to buy the Belgian permanently in the summer and it would be triggered on the basis of the number of times Mangala plays for Napoli.

If the Belgian plays at least 45 minutes of 50 percent matches in the second part of the season, the option to buy will turn into an obligation to buy. And Napoli would then pay a total fee of €25 million, which also includes the loan fee which will be paid initially.

Mangala remains keen on leaving Forest, but the English side want a higher fee to let the Belgium international depart.
